Description
Clare works in the Strategic Research and Evaluation team in the Irish Department of Health. She leads work to apply behavioural science to improve patient outcomes and enhance operational performance across the health system. She also works to implement the reorganisation of Ireland’s health service in line with Sláintecare, the ten-year reform programme that outlines the long-term vision for health and social care across the country. This reorganisation aims to enable integrated care delivery and streamline both corporate and clinical governance.
Before joining the Department of Health, she worked with the UK Behavioural Insights Team, where she helped design, implement, and evaluate innovative policy interventions informed by behavioural science. Her projects included supporting preparations for the UK census and developing strategies to reduce loneliness and social isolation.
