Description
Dr. Angelika Sporenberg studied law at the University of Bonn, where she also worked at the Institute for Commercial and Corporate Law. She earned her PhD in transformation law.
She practiced for seven years as a lawyer at an international business law firm with a focus on corporate law, before spending 17 years at BaFin in financial supervision, working in both national and international banking supervision as well as securities supervision. Since January 2023, she has been heading the department “Administrative Registers, Service Center for Better Regulation,” with a focus on register modernization, administrative digitization, and bureaucracy reduction.
