Biography
Dr. Gloria Nyambura Kenyatta holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Freiburg, Germany. She is a research fellow at the Arnold Bergstraesser Institute in Freiburg, Germany — a research institute focusing on socio-political issues in the Global South, including Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Since 2014, she has served as the Deputy Clerk in charge of legislative affairs for the Bomet County Assembly, one of Kenya’s forty-seven devolved legislatures. She holds a Master’s degree in Rural Sociology and Community Development from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies—Community Development from Kenyatta University, Kenya.
