Our Autumn series of thematic online sessions will continue on Tuesday 04 November with an exchange on Governing with AI. This session will follow the launch of the new OECD report Governing with AI: The State of Play and Way Forward in Core Government Functions, which explores how governments can harness AI’s potential while managing its risks. The discussion will highlight how AI can enhance public service delivery, decision-making, and innovation, while addressing key challenges around transparency, accountability, and trust. 

The session will feature a presentation by Gillian Dorner, Deputy Director in the Public Governance Directorate of the OECD, followed by an interactive dialogue.
Interpretation will be provided in English, French and Spanish.

Hearing - Tenth IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

Participation of an OECD expert in the Tenth IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians on 12 September 2024, in a session entitled: Young lives disrupted: The impact of crisis on youth socio-economic rights and empowerment. The OECD Expert (Ms. Veerle Miranda, Senior economist,Employment, Labor and Social Affairs Directorate) engaged with young parliamentarians from around the world to share policy guidance on how to better provide employment and skills-building opportunities to young people in times of crisis.
