Jirí Horák is a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic since 2021. Before becoming a Member of Parliament, he has been active in local governance for over 10 years. After being part of the City of Bucovice's Council for 7 years, he became the mayor in 2017. Jirí Horák holds a doctorate in sociology from the Palacký University in Olomouc. His interests lay in the field of secularization, historical comparative sociology, and political sociology.
