Biography

State Representative Noah Arbit is serving his second term in the Michigan House of Representatives, representing part of Oakland County, in suburban Detroit. First elected in 2022 as one of the youngest legislators in Michigan, Noah has made a mark with his passionate advocacy on key issues including mental health, hate crimes and extremism, consumer protection, and the climate. Prior to his election to the Michigan Legislature, Noah served on several political campaigns, for Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Hillary Clinton, the National Democratic Institute, the National Council on Soviet Jewry, and founded the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus to take on antisemitism, hate, and extremism in the wake of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. He also served as Director of Communications at the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, where he organized the inaugural Racial Justice Advisory Council.
