Our Autumn series of thematic online sessions continued on Tuesday 04 November with an exchange on Governing with AI. This session followed the launch of the new OECD report Governing with AI: The State of Play and Way Forward in Core Government Functions, which explores how governments can harness AI’s potential while managing its risks. The discussion highlighted how AI can enhance public service delivery, decision-making, and innovation, while addressing key challenges around transparency, accountability, and trust.
The session featured a presentation by Gillian Dorner, Deputy Director in the Public Governance Directorate of the OECD, followed by an interactive dialogue.
