Our Autumn series of thematic online sessions will continue on Tuesday 04 November with an exchange on Governing with AI. This session will follow the launch of the new OECD report Governing with AI: The State of Play and Way Forward in Core Government Functions, which explores how governments can harness AI’s potential while managing its risks. The discussion will highlight how AI can enhance public service delivery, decision-making, and innovation, while addressing key challenges around transparency, accountability, and trust. 

The session will feature a presentation by Gillian Dorner, Deputy Director in the Public Governance Directorate of the OECD, followed by an interactive dialogue.
Interpretation will be provided in English, French and Spanish.

The OECD Global Parliamentary Network Plenary Meeting took place from February 5 to 7, 2025, at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris, France. With almost 140 parliamentarians and 45 parliamentary officials representing more than 40 countries, the diversity of perspectives and the depth of discussions were remarkable. The 2025 Plenary Meeting featured various sessions, including bilateral meetings with OECD economic country desks, a consultation on the OECD Development Strategy, some focus on Climate and AI, but also on Energy, the Global economy, Demographic shifts, the OECD Survey of Adult Skills and Competition policy.
