Nani is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in environmental and forestry management. With a focus on critical issues such as marine litter, waste management, carbon pricing, social forestry, and climate change, she has dedicated her career to promoting sustainable practices and driving positive change in Indonesia. She holds a Doctor Rerum Naturalium degree in Marine Remote Sensing from the University of Rostock, Germany (2007); a Master of Science degree from the University of Dundee, UK (2003); and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Natural Sciences from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia (1992). With over two decades of experience, Nani has held various key positions throughout her career. Currently serving as the Deputy Minister for Environment and Forestry Managements in the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs, Republic of Indonesia, she plays a crucial role in formulating and implementing policies related to environmental and forestry management. Her leadership has been instrumental in tackling pressing environmental challenges and finding innovative solutions.
