Suzanne Biegel is Co-Founder of GenderSmart, Board Member of the 2X Collaborative, and CEO of Catalyst at Large. She is a globally recognised leader and expert on gender-smart investing. Her work has influenced hundreds of funds and institutional investors, and billions of dollars of capital to move with a gender lens. GenderSmart and the 2X Collaborative connects, convenes, and equips thousands of the most committed investors and investment influencers, globally across more than 50 countries, to unlock gender-smart capital at scale. Suzanne co-leads the GenderSmart Climate/Gender Investing Working Group, which represents over 100 industry leaders investing at the nexus of climate and gender. She speaks and writes widely on the nexus of climate/gender finance and does extensive advisory work in this arena. In 2021 she co-authored Gender & Climate Investment: A strategy for unlocking a sustainable future, with Kite Insights, in 2022 released a Guide to Investing with a Gender Lens in Green and Sustainable Bonds, and has three new reports forthcoming. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business. She has more than 35 years of business and finance background, sits on a number of boards, is a fellow at the Aspen Institute, and is based in London.
