Håvard Halland is a senior economist at the OECD Development Centre, formerly a senior economist at the World Bank and visiting scholar at Stanford University. His work lies at the intersection of public and private finance, economics, energy, and sustainability. He is the lead or joint author of several books and of a number of research papers, including a recently published book on strategic investment funds. His op-eds have appeared in the Financial Times, Project Syndicate, Le Monde, Foreign Affairs, and on OMFIF, among others.
