Description

Ms Hoeflich de Duque works in the last 15 years in United Cities and Local Government, UCLG. Starting as coach for urban development strategies of cities, she works as focal point for the World Forum on LED and global guidance on urbanization. She leads open learning programme for localizing global agenda such as sustainable development goals and Sendai framework. Much of this knowledge is collected through tailor made peer to peer mechanisms between local governments. Before joining UCLG, she worked for German development Cooperation GIZ, as urban expert for development strategies and organizational development in Indonesia and Colombia. She is architect and urban planner, after her studies at the RWTH University in Aachen, she enrolled in sevral German planning offices in her hometown Cologne.
