Description
Dr Judith Winternitz has held a number of senior Australian government policy and research positions in immigration, multicultural affairs and Indigenous affairs, education, employment, communications, infrastructure and regional development. In addition to her policy development and implementation expertise in these fields, she has specialised skills and experience in qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and policy and program evaluation.
Her extensive Australian public service career has included leading policy, research and analytical teams in several key national policy areas and representing Australia internationally at UNESCO, the OECD and the International Telecommunications Union. She currently holds the position of Director, Research and Insights, in the Regional Policy Branch of the Australian Government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.
