Description

Tomáš Rosendorf has a Master's in Nuclear Chemistry from the Czech Technical University in Prague and works at the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Czechia) as the Head of the Fuel Cycle Back-End Unit, Nuclear Energy Department. At the Ministry, he has the role of the guarantor of the Policy of Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Management, and he controls the activities of the Radioactive Waste Repository Authority (Czech's WMO). He is a member of the Legislation Working Group of the Standing Committee on the New Nuclear Builds and Expert Group for the DGR's final site evaluation. He has experience as a scientist in nuclear, physical, and analytical chemistry, geochemistry, and modeling of transport and speciation of radionuclides in the deep geological repository (finishing PhD). He participated in projects for research support for the safety assessment of a deep geological repository in Czechia before the 2020s
