Description

Philipp Senn is the Division Head of Communication and Public Affairs at Nagra (National Cooperative for the Disposal of Radioactive Waste) and Member of the Executive Board. Responsible for the strategic development and management of Nagra's communication and public affairs measures. He is responsible for collaboration and networking at national and cantonal levels as well as with the relevant bodies involved in the site selection process. He heads and is also responsible for team consisting of 15 employees.

NEA membership consists of 34 countries representing 80% of the world's installed nuclear electricity generating capacity. The mission of the NEA is to assist its member countries in maintaining and further developing, through international co-operation, the scientific, technological and legal bases required for a safe, environmentally sound and economical use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. It strives to provide authoritative assessments and to forge common understandings on key issues as input to government decisions on nuclear energy policy and to broader OECD analyses in areas such as energy and the sustainable development of low carbon economies.
