Description

Katharine Mullock is a labour market economist in the Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Her work focuses on helping countries develop policies to adapt to changing skills needs arising from technological change, globalisation and population ageing. She has drafted and co-drafted various OECD reports on adult learning and career guidance for adults. She holds a Masters in Economics from the University of British Colombia. Prior to joining the OECD, Katharine was a research economist at Canada’s Department of Finance, providing strategic advice to the Minister on issues relating to income inequality, skills mismatch, and retirement income adequacy.
