Description
Jorrit Zwijnenburg is Head of Sectoral and National Accounts within the Statistics and Data Directorate at the OECD. He is heading the team responsible for the quarterly and annual national accounts data (amongst others including GDP, national income and government debt), leading the work on the development of distributional national accounts (as part of the G20 Data Gaps Initiative 3), and coordinating the work to better capture wellbeing and sustainability in the new System of National Accounts. Throughout his career, he has contributed to a wide range of research topics, including the recording of non-bank financial intermediation, pension entitlements, intellectual property products, crypto assets and data. He has a master’s degree in Economics and Public Administration.
