Description
Francesca Cerchia is the Global Head of Climate Change and Sustainability Solutions with SGS. In her role she is responsible for the global development and management of services that promote and support the transition to greener, smarter, and safer industries & societies. She leads the work on GHG emissions verification, energy audits and efficiency measures, water stewardship and green buildings together with accreditations management. Prior to joining SGS in 2011, she was Managing Director of Econergy International Corporation (a Suez International Group company, now Engie) in Brazil.
Francesca holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management (USA), an MA in Politics and Economics from the College of Europe (Belgium) and a BA in Political Science from the Università degli Studi di Roma, La Sapienza. She is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
