Description
Boris van Zanten is a Disaster Risk Management Specialist at the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR), where he co-leads the World Bank’s Global Program on Nature-based Solutions for Climate Resilience. In his work for the NBS Program, Boris focuses on developing tools and analytics to support project development and investment in Nature-based Solutions across the Bank. He holds an interdisciplinary PhD in Environmental Economics & Geography from the Institute for Environmental Studies at VU University in Amsterdam.
