Mr. Abubakar has 22 years of experience in engineering related fields. He has worked as project and customer service engineer with the electricity company of Ghana for 4 years, operations and maintenance engineer with the Volta River Authority for 5 years, and currently working as Principal Power System Planning Engineer with Ghana Grid Company Limited for 13 years. He is an active member of Power Planning Technical Committee (PPTC) which oversees power supply planning (short and long term) in Ghana, and a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers. He has an M.Sc degree in Energy Economics and a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Kwame University of Science and Technology.
