Description
Mr Teruki Iwatsuki is the Director of Research at the Horonobe Underground Research Laboratory.
For more than two decades, Mr Iwatsuki has been conducting research on the long-term evolution of the geological environment, environmental impacts, and monitoring techniques during the construction of underground facilities in two underground research laboratories constructed in crystalline and sedimentary rock regions of Japan.
His research expertise is in geochemistry, material cycle science, isotope chemistry, and energy policy.
