Description
Dr. Lautsch is a graduate mining engineer. He studied at the RWTH Aachen from 1979 to 1985 and received his doctorate there in 2004.
Dr. Lautsch has been Managing Director of BGE and its precursor DBE since August 2014 and is the operator of the Asse II mine, the Konrad repository, the Morsleben repository and the Gorleben mine. Before Dr. Lautsch joined the DBE he held several senior positions in the international mining industry, including the U.S.
