Description
Mr. Jussi Heinonen leads strategic regulatory oversight development in STUK. He started in this position December 2020. Before this he was working as director for department of Nuclear Waste Regulation and Safeguards. Mr Heinonen has worked in STUK since 2002. Over the course of the last few years, his work has related to spent fuel storage and disposal, radioactive waste management regulation in general, decommissioning, nuclear material safeguards and development of regulations and regulatory activities.
