First Deputy Minister of Healthcare

Sultangaziyev Timur Slamzhanovich has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Timur Sultangaziyev was born in 1982 in Almaty. He graduated from the Kazakh National Medical University, Tulane University (USA). He began his career in 2005 as a laboratory assistant of the Chair of Normal Anatomy â„–1 at the Kazakh National Medical University named after Asfendiyarov. In 2010, he was leading specialist of the Education Department; Acting Chief Specialist of Marketing and Strategy Department of JSC "Republican Scientific Centre of Emergency Medical Care of the Republic of Kazakhstan". In 2010-2013, he worked in various positions in the Innovation and Technology Transfer Department of National Medical Holding JSC. In 2013-2014, he was President of JSC Centre for Medical Technologies and Information Systems. In 2014-2016 he worked in commercial organisations. In 2016 he worked as Deputy Director General of the Republican Health Centre. In 2016-2017, he was Acting Director; Director of the Department of Standardisation of Medical Services of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2017-2018, he was Director of the Project Management Department of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ministry of Health. In 2018-2020, he was Head of the Health Department of the North Kazakhstan region Akimat, Petropavlovsk. In 2020, he was the Chairman of the Quality and Safety Control Committee of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2021-2022, he was Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan region.
