Wojciech Konieczny
Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health
Wojciech Konieczny was born on the 30th of September 1970 in Częstochowa.
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice in 1995. In 2004, he obtained a title of neurologist. He completed postgraduate studies in health care management in the Faculty of Management at the University of Technology in Częstochowa.
Since 2013, he has been the director of the Municipal Hospital in Częstochowa.
He is a member of the Polish Neurological Society, the National Trade Union of Physicians and the Association of District Hospitals of the Silesian Voivodeship.
In 2019, he was a councilor of the Silesian Voivodeship Assembly.
In the past he was a deputy chairman of the Science, Education and Sports Committee and also a deputy chairman of the Health Committee in the Polish Senate.
On the 5th of January 2024 he was designated to the position of the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Poland.
