Description
Nicolai Boserup is general counsel and senior vice president of the Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU), Denmark’s development finance institution (DFI).
In addition to being head of IFU’s legal department, Nicolai leads the team responsible for IFU’s relations to the Danish government and institutional investors.
Nicolai is part of the senior management team that redesigned IFU from a wholly state financed DFI to a fund manager catalysing private institutional capital to sustainable investments in developing countries and leads IFU’s fundraising with institutional investors.
Nicolai represents IFU in the World Economic Forum and OECD Sustainable Development Investment Partnership, of which IFU is a founding member.
Before joining IFU in 2010 Nicolai practised law in Copenhagen (with the law firm Bruun & Hjejle). He has law degrees from the universities of Copenhagen and Oxford.
