Biographie
Dr. Barbara Kolm was born 1964 in Innsbruck and serves as Director of the Austrian Economics Center, as President of the Hayek Institute and as Professor of Austrian Economics at the University of Donja Gorica in Montenegro. She is a regular lecturer on geopolitical topics, on business location issues, monetary and economic policy, deregulation and competition, was well as on the future of Europe. Before becoming an MP in 2024, she served as member of several supervisory boards, such as the Vienna Insurance Group, and as Vice President of the Austrian National Bank. In 2008, Dr. Kolm founded the largest liberal conference series “Free Market Road Show”, which visits around 40 countries annually (with 425 events to date) to discuss current economic issues.
