Citizens’ Voice: Effective public communication for enhancing open government and supporting the COVID-19 recovery
Within the framework of the Citizens’ Voice project supported by the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, this online regional conference will focus on public communication and its role in promoting a more open government in the MENA region.
This event will gather a group of representatives from Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia. It will provide an opportunity to take stock of the project achievements and identify how to build on the progress achieved, notably through the endorsement of the MENA Regional Charter on Public Communication.

User-centric service delivery: Putting citizens and businesses at the centre
This high-level event aims to provide a platform for representatives of the region to consider and discuss recent developments, key success stories and common challenges in relation to the service delivery area.
The event will include comparative insights from a regional and international perspective through the participation of representatives of the EC, OECD and other international partners active in the region on service delivery issues. This high-level event is a follow-up to the first SIGMA ENP South Regional Service Delivery Conference “Administration for citizens and businesses”, held in 2018 in Morocco.
Organised with the SIGMA Programme, a joint initiative of the OECD and the EU, principally financed by the EU.
