Kamil Šaško has been the Minister of Health of Slovakia since October 2024. He is a public finance professional with over 10 years’ experience in investments and financial services, both from a public and a private sector perspective.
Currently Minister Šaško is focused on financial market supervision. He is the former leading negotiator on behalf of the Slovak Presidency in the Council of the European Union on Financial Services files, with a spotlight on development of Capital Markets Union and Financial technologies innovation across the EU.
