Description
Liesbeth leads IISD's work on sustainable public procurement and sustainable infrastructure. She has more than 10 years of expertise in research and advisory work with governments for using public procurement strategically to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals. Liesbeth also teaches strategic public procurement and green public procurement at the University of Rome and Belgrade, and has developed a wide-range of training programs on the issue. As part of her role, she also works with governments and the private sector on policies, strategies and the business case for investing in and procuring sustainable and nature-based infrastructure.
