Description
Alaleh Motamedi is the Head of Procurement of the European Investment Bank (EIB), leading the project procurement policy and function applicable to the EIB’s investment portfolio worldwide.
She is a seasoned procurement professional with 30 years of international experience in procurement of infrastructure projects and public procurement reforms in multilateral development banks.
Prior to joining the EIB, she worked in the private sector and at the World Bank as an engineer and lateron as a procurement specialist both at operational and policy levels.
She holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnical Faculty of Mons (Belgium) and an MBA from the University of Maastricht (The Netherlands).
