Description
Volkmar Denner studied physics at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. After a research stay in the USA, he graduated with a doctorate in solid-state physics from the University of Stuttgart. He joined Robert Bosch GmbH in 1986 and has spent his entire career at the company. After serving as Senior Manager, Executive Vice President and then President, he has been CEO of Bosch from 2012 - 2021. Since 2022 he works as a scientific advisor quantum technology of the Bosch Group and is spokesman for economics of the QuantumBW innovation initiative of the state Baden-Württemberg, Germany
