Description
Benjamin Ang is Head of the Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS) and Future Issues in Technology (FIT) at S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS, NTU) where he leads the think tank’s policy research on national security issues related to cyber, disinformation, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and emerging technologies. He has given expert testimony at the United Nations Open Ended Working Group on Cyber. Across his diverse career he has been a litigation lawyer, IT Director, corporate lawyer, and senior law lecturer in data privacy and tech law. His Law degree is from the National University of Singapore, and his MBA / MS-MIS are from Boston University. He is concurrently Co-Chief Data Officer of AI.Singapore and volunteers on the Executive Committee of the Internet Society Singapore Chapter.
