Claes-Mikael Ståhl is Deputy General Secretary at ETUC. He is a lawyer specialised in labour and EU law with long experience in the trade union movement particularly in collective bargaining. As well as working for many years for the Swedish blue-collar union LO, he has worked at for the European Trade Union Confederation as a legal advisor on the Services and Posting of Workers Directives and for the Swedish Trade Union Office in Brussels. He is a member of the Board of the Swedish Labour Law Association and is the author of many publications and reports on a range of trade union issues from democracy to full employment and posted workers.
