Description

Chris Adamo is head of Global Sustainability Impact & B Corp, assisting Danone to create social and environmental impact throughout its business as a certified B Corp. Chris helps Danone build sustainability strategies and policies to implement its Danone Impact Journey. Chris also leads the development of partnerships to help accelerate and scale progress across priority topics such as climate change and regenerative agriculture. Chris has over 20 years of experience working on a variety of environmental & climate issues across the corporate food sector, non-profit advocacy, academia, and government. Prior to joining Danone, Chris spent over a decade in the U.S. federal government leading strategies on topics such as agriculture, natural resources, and climate change. He served as chief of staff for the White House Council on Environmental Quality under President Barack Obama, co-leading strategies to implement the U.S. climate action plan, and previously led the United States Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry helping shape the U.S. government’s domestic agriculture and food policies.
