Description

Carina Kanitz is a PhD student in experimental quantum physics on the topic of atomic diffraction through surfaces. She holds a Master of Science of Honors degree from the University of Erlangen and conducted research at CERN, the University of Hawai'i and Université Paris-Saclay. Besides her research she initiated several outreach projects communicating quantum science to children and families. She engages in student science competitions as a juror on federal and national level.
