This panel will discuss the status of digital wages in the garment and footwear supply chain. It will highlight how responsible digital wage payments can contribute to workers’ empowerment and financial inclusion, and sustainable enterprises. It will also address the challenges and opportunities for responsible transition at scale.
The session will include representatives of the BTCA, ILO, workers, employers, and brands.
The session will be co-hosted by the BTCA and ILO Global Centre on Digital Wages for Decent Work.
