President of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit) since 2017. Born in Rio de Janeiro, graduated in Economics and Business Administration (University of Candido Mendes) with specialization in Marketing. He has been working in the Textile and Apparel Sector since 1977 in the national and international market. From 2005 to 2016 he held the position of Superintendent Director of Abit. He also occupies the following positions: President of the Business Coalition for the Facilitation of Trade and Barriers CFB /CNI (Brazilian National Confederation of Industry) Vice President of CONSIN / CNI - Industry Sector Advisory Council; Member of the Board of ITMF - International Textile Manufacturers Federation; Member of the Board of the IAF - International Apparel Federation; Member of the CAL / CNI - Council of Legislative Affairs; Member of the CRT / CNI - Council for Labor Relations and Social Development; Member of CEMBRAR / CNI - Brazil-Argentina Business Council; Member of COPIN / CNI - Industrial Policy and Technological Development Council; Member of the Sectorial Chamber of the Cotton Productive Chain / MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture); Member of the COMTEXTIL - Textile and Clothing Industry Productive Chain Committee / FIESP (Federation of Industries of the State of Sao Paulo); Consultant Member of the CDMD - Fashion Law Commission of OAB / RJ (Order of Attorneys).
