Description
Prathika Kurian is the Senior Manager of Factory Compliance at SanMar, an accredited participating company with the Fair Labor Association (FLA). SanMar was founded in 1971 and is now the largest promotional apparel supplier in the United States. Prathika has nearly two decades of experience in corporate responsibility and human rights advocacy. She brings extensive expertise in the apparel industry to the discussion on brand strategies for living wages. As a leader in SanMar's Factory Compliance Program, she has spearheaded initiatives such as the Living Wage Blueprint, SanMar being a corporate sponsor of the Anker Research Institute, putting together SanMar's Responsible Purchasing Policy, and continued participation in the Butter Buying Survey. SanMar was and still is the only company to publish its yearly Better Buying score and report. Prathika is passionate about promoting responsible sourcing practices and looks forward to sharing insights on this crucial topic as a panel speaker. She is also on the FLA Board.
