Description
Annabell Brüggemann is a german trained lawyer and works as a legal advisor in the Business and Human Rights program of the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR), a Berlin based legal human rights organisation.
The ECCHR uses legal means to enforce human rights worldwide. Since the German Supply Chain Act came into force at the beginning of last year, the ECCHR has been working on cases to help ensure that the law is implemented as effectively as possible in the interests of those affected. Together with other civil society organizations, they have supported workers and trade unions in filing initial complaints based on the new law.
Annabell Brüggemann also heads a working group of the German CorA network, which is working on issues relating to the implementation of the German Supply Chain Act from a civil society perspective.
