Description
Laura Stefan is the Founder and the Rule of Law and Anticorruption Coordinator for Expert Forum (EFOR) and has over 15 years of professional experience combining public sector and private sector practice. Since November 2019 Ms. Stefan is also the Chairperson of the Regional Anticorruption Initiative and starting June 2021 she serves as an international expert in the Independent Anticorruption Consultative Committee of Moldova. She also acts as an international expert in the areas of judicial reform, anticorruption and money laundering for the European Commission, UNDP, OECD and other international organizations. In 2011 she was appointed by the European Commission as one of the 17 members of the Expert Group on Corruption. She has conducted numerous evaluations on corruption in the context of visa dialogue or accession negotiations for the European Commission on countries such as Moldova, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo.
