Biography

After graduation from Vilnius University with a Master degree of Law, Rūta Kaziliūnaitė started her career as a project manager in central institution “Central Project Management Agency”. Later, in the period of 2010 - 2013, she worked in a legal group as an adviser to the President of the Republic of Lithuania. From the time of 2013 she started her service in STT as a Deputy Head of Legal Division. During her term of service in STT she held the positions of the Head of the Legal and International Cooperation Division of Administration Department, Head of Administration Department and Head of Corruption Prevention Department. At that time, she also participated as a member of Lithuania delegation at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Group of Bribery in international Business Transactions (WGB) and Anti-Corruption Network (ACN). In 2020, she became a Deputy Director of STT with responsibility for Corruption Prevention and Analytical Anti-Corruption Intelligence. She is also a Deputy Vice-President of the European Partners against Corruption (EPAC/EACN) since 2016. For her exemplary service she has been awarded with the 3rd degree STT badge of honor in 2017.
