Biography

Angela Joo-Hyun Kang is Founder and President of Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum (GCEF). With a Mid-Career Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and her hybrid careers in public, private, and nonprofit sectors about 30 years to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, business integrity, and women's empowerment, she was the initiator, the architect, and a co-implementer of two South Korean anti-corruption & collective action projects of the 1st and 2nd rounds of the Siemens Integrity Initiative from 2011 to 2018.  Ms. Kang has been a South Korean delegate of Women 20 (W20) from 2017 and she is currently a member of the Integrity and Compliance Taskforce of Business (B20) Saudi Arabia 2020, the Anti-Corruption Policy Group of Business at OECD, and the Private Sector Advisory Group of the Fair Biz Project at UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub advising its Diversity & Inclusion Platform. As an international expert, she was invited as a content developer and sole lecturer of the e-learning course on gender, enterprise, and compliance, hosted by Centro de Gobernanza Abierta (Center for Open Governance) in 2020.
