Rapid advances in data analytics and artificial intelligence offer powerful ways to strengthen the oversight, efficiency and accountability of public institutions. At the same time, these tools present significant challenges, such as capacity gaps, ethical considerations, external dependencies, and data security risks, which demand thoughtful governance and adaptable responses.
The Tech and Analytics Community of Practice brings together innovation leaders and data professionals in oversight authorities to discuss these opportunities and constraints.
This session will provide a space to exchange practical experiences, benchmark emerging methodologies, and identify best practices for the responsible adoption of advanced analytics and AI. Drawing on the different approaches to common challenges, it will highlight overarching insights from across the community on how institutions can build more effective governance frameworks, and the capabilities needed to ensure technology enhances public integrity and trust.
