Biographie
Pedro Ricardo Soares Pimenta, a Manager with 20 years of professional experience and a Psychologist, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Post-Graduate degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from ISLA-Leiria (Grupo Lusófona). In the private sector, he has a well-established career in management, training, and consulting, having served as Managing Director of Ponto Cardeal, Lda. (2001–2006) and, at IFIL – Instituto de Formação em Informática e Línguas, as Managing Director (1998–2022) and Director of the Training Design and Management Department (1998–2018). He also practiced clinically as a Psychologist at the District Hospital of Leiria (2014–2015) and, since 2021, has been working in Consulting for International Business Expansion Projects at Syncopart – Synergy in Consultancy and Partnership.
On a political and party level, he was President of the Leiria Local Section of the Earth Party - MPT (2016–2019), President of the Central Region Section (2017–2019), and Vice-President of the National Political Committee of the same party (2019–2020), where he has served as President of the National Political Committee since 2020. In local government, he served as a Municipal Deputy in the Municipal Assembly of Leiria from 2017 to 2021. He has been a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Portuguese Assembly of the Republic since 2025.
