Biographie
Alexandru Mihai GHIGIU is a Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of Romania and the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee for Education.
Previously, Mr. Ghigiu was Minister - Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Romania. He also served as Senior Advisor to the Romanian Minister of National Education (2012-2014, 2016) and Deputy Minister in the General Secretariat of the Romanian Government (2017). Also, Mr. Ghigiu was national coordinator for intellectual property and president of the Commission for Examination of Foreign Direct Investments (CEISD).
He holds a PhD in Political Science from the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, Bucharest (SNSPA) and as senior lecturer teaches courses in European policy.
