Independent Businessman; he completed his secondary and high school education in Amasya.
He began his political career in 1997 within the CHP (Republican People’s Party) Provincial Youth Branches. Throughout his career, he served as the Chair of the Provincial Youth Branches, Member of the Provincial Executive Board, District Chair, and Provincial Chair.
Karagöz, who has intermediate proficiency in French, is married and the father of two children.
