Biographie
Hon. Jane Wangechi Kagiri is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Laikipia County, serving as its first-term Woman Representative and a member of the IMF/WBG parliamentary network. She is a member of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). She was elected in the 2022 Kenyan general election and began her term in August 2022. During her campaigns, she emphasized youth and women's empowerment, focusing on education, entrepreneurship, and talent development. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras, India (2001–2005), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the United States International University – Africa (USIU-A) (2015–2016) and an entrepreneurship certificate from Babson College in Massachusetts, USA (2018).
