Tom Howes is Advisor to the Director on the green energy transition and energy market regulation, in the energy department of the European Commission. Previously, he has been Head of Division at the International Energy Agency (IEA) and has worked on energy market and grid integration issues, renewable energy legislation, energy modelling, and energy finance for the European Commission and worked for the UK and Australian governments.
