Matthew Bach serves as the Regional Director for Europe at ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability where he focuses on strategy and policy. He has been with ICLEI for nine years, where he most recently led work on justice, equity and democracy. Throughout his career, Matthew has been deeply committed to integrating sustainability and justice at the local level and has been working closely with civil society and policymakers to foster just and place-based transitions.
